SMART BUTAS

It is an Application Software that automatically find a Gateway that has Internet Access. It allows the user to have a free internet access at home for the SMART Broadband network.(for Philippines use only)

Strictly Follow  all the Procedures.

Reqiurements:

PC/Laptop(Win 7,8 try to XP)

SMART USB Broadband Modem or Any open line broadband 

SMART BUDDY/Talk N TEXT SIM (NEW/OLD)

At least 2Php load, has a 3G/HSDPA services

Roam OFF Capable (optional)

DB (DashBoard) Settings:

Profile Name: GLOBE

Dial Number: *99***1#

APN: http.globe.com.ph

Procedures:

1. Make a Dial-up Connection

go to Control Panel click Internet Options. click Connection Tab.

2. Click ADD. see image below.

3. Click Dial-up. see image below.

4. Choose your USB Broadband Modem. see image below

5. Fill up the following box. and click connect if done. see image below.

6. Wait until set-up is done. see image below.

7. Click Set up the connection anyway. see image below.

8. Click close.see image below.

9. Configuring Dial-up connection. click on the signal bar icon in the Task bar and click GLOBE and connect. see image below.

10. Click Properties. see image below.

11. Click Networking tab. choose Internet Protocol Version  4 (TCP/IPv4) and click Properties. see image below.

12. Click Advance. see image below.

13. Click WINS tab and click Add. see image below.

14. Input the IP  for Primary IP and click Add shown in the image below.

 

Click add for the secondary IP

You can put any IP that you want. Any IP that follows this format. xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx the numbers that are only allowed are 1-254. (ex.254.254.254.254 )

tick Disable NetBIOS over TCP/IP. see image above. and click OK. Done Dial-up connecction.

15. Connect it. If its connected proceed to next step.

16. Run SMART BUTAS ver.2.1.1 Challenge_DHCP_ON rev.2.

Wait until it has Ping Replies on the window and it will automatically open Chrome browser.

That's it You're connected to the internet FREE!!!  

Note: It takes sometime to connect. Be patience. Patience is the key to Success!!!
